Pedra do Pontal

Pedra do Pontal, located between Recreio and Macumba beaches, is part of our tour “West Zone Tour” and is a must see attraction in the wonderful city.

The beaches of Recreio and Macumba are true havens for surfers from Rio de Janeiro and there is a small strip of sand between the two beaches that leads to the beginning of Pedral do Pedral.

After a climb of about 20 minutes to reach the top, we will enjoy an incredible view of the West Zone of Rio, dividing in a “V”, the beaches of Macumba and Recreio. Amazing!
